Rising Stars (10 Years & Under)
At HDF, our Rising Stars age group is specially designed for students aged 10 years and under. When deciding which classes are the best fit for your child, the first step is to choose which stream they would like to join. At HDF, we offer three unique streams to suit every dancer’s goals and interests:
Ready Set Dance (for our pre-schoolers)
Fun Classes
Team Classes

Studio Streams.
Fun Stream.
This stream is perfect for students who want to dance for fun, fitness, and friendship. It’s ideal for students who also enjoy other sports or activities, as it allows them to balance all their interests without additional performance or class commitments.
In the Fun Stream, students can enjoy exciting classes with the latest music and choreography, taught by our amazing teachers who make every dancer feel welcome, included and confident.
Classes in this stream are available in a variety of styles, including:
Jazz/Hip Hop
Tap
Ballet
and many more…
You’re welcome to attend as many classes as you’d like in the Fun Stream—just look for the "Fun" icon on the timetable!
Team Stream.
For students who are passionate about dance and ready to take their skills to the next level, the Team Stream provides enhanced training and exciting performance opportunities throughout the year.
Enrolling in the Team Stream gives you access to all classes listed for your age group in the timetable, including Fun Stream classes.
Here are a few key details about the Team Stream:
Minimum Commitment: Students must attend at least 3 classes per week, which must include at least one technical class (either Ballet or Technique).
Lyrical TEAM Requirement: If you choose to join a Lyrical TEAM, you’ll need to enroll in a Ballet class to meet the technical requirements.
The Team Stream is a great option for dedicated dancers who want to improve their technique, build confidence, and shine on stage!
